Who we are

TRANCE (“TRANCE”, “we”, “us”) is an event management and talent booking service operating from Chennai, India. This policy explains what information we collect through thetrance website, why we collect it, and how it is used.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you:

• Submit the contact, booking, or talent inquiry forms — name, email, phone number, organization, event details, city, event date, guest count, budget, preferred talent, and any message you include.
• Create an account — name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Sign in with Google — your name and email address, as shared by Google. We never see or store your Google password.

We also set a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in (session cookies for customer and admin accounts). These cookies are required for the account and booking features to work and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

How we use your information

• To respond to bookings, inquiries, and messages you send us.
• To maintain your account and show you your own booking history.
• To notify our team internally when a new booking, lead, or contact message is submitted.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse of our forms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the site, each of which processes data only on our behalf:

• A managed PostgreSQL database provider, to store form submissions and account records.
• A cloud media storage provider, to host portfolio images and videos.
• Google, to offer optional sign-in with your Google account.
• An email delivery provider, to send our team a notification when you submit a form.
• Our hosting provider, to serve the website itself.

We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law.

How long we keep it

We retain booking, contact, and lead submissions, and account data, for as long as needed to respond to your request and maintain accurate business records. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time using the contact details below.

Your choices

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account, by emailing us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
